Description

Le rose (meaning “Roses” and not rosè in Italian) is a naturally sparkling petnat born out of one of Emilia Romagna’s most representative grapes, the aromatic Malvasia di Candia. The young vines on loamy soils with river rocks and chalk are treated only with natural extracts and have been long certified organic and the hand-picked grapes undergo a short skin contact during natural fermentation. The second fermentation is kick-started by their own must in the bottle and the wine is bottled with no added SO2. Brightly fresh and joyous yet full of vigorous fruit: lemon blossom, marzipan, pickled tangerines and honeysuckle.
