Overview: Le Corgne Estate is located in Valfabbrica, a small municipality outside of Perugia, and was purchased by fashion icon Franca Fendi in the 90’s.? Andrea Formilli Fendi, Franca’s son, started his winemaking journey in 2005 by repurposing the family estate and making it into a boutique winery with about 6 ha of land under vine.? Casafranca is Andrea Formilli Fendi’s wine combining native local grapes with France’s most famous varietals, a perfect marriage of different culture. Andrea dedicated this wine to his mother Franca Fendi. “Casafranca” “Franca’s home”. Andrea and his brothers and sister used to spend their weekends at Franca’s weekend retreat “ Le Corgne” in Casacastalda, two hours north of Rome. 100% Estate grown.
